About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing motors and related components to meet high-quality standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial painting processes, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Experience with paint prep, masking, priming, and spray application
Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify paint defects
Safe use of hand tools and paint equipment
Ability to work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

Industrial or manufacturing painting experience preferred
Experience with MIL-SPEC or customer coating requirements is a plus

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces using cleaning, sanding, masking, and grinding techniques
Mix and apply primers, paints, and protective coatings per work instructions and specifications
Spray paint motors, components, and assemblies while maintaining required finish quality
Read and follow job travelers, paint schedules, and technical documentation
Inspect finished work and perform touch-ups or rework as needed
Clean and maintain paint equipment and work area
Safely handle paints, solvents, and chemicals
Complete production and quality documentation accurately and on time
Support kitting, packaging, and crating activities as needed
Collaborate with production, quality, and shipping teams to meet schedules
