About The Position

This position involves applying paint, stain, and other finishes to property surfaces such as walls, ceilings, and furniture using various tools like brushes, spray guns, or rollers. The role also includes preparing surfaces by applying primers or sealers, removing old finishes through methods like stripping, sanding, or blasting, and protecting surfaces during and after painting. Responsibilities also extend to coordinating with vendors for paint color modifications, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and adhering to all company and safety policies and procedures. The role requires performing physical tasks such as reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, moving up and down ladders, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds. Additionally, it involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and performing other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors. Requirements

Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
At least 1 year of related work experience.
No supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Apply paint, stain and other finishes to property walls, ceilings, and furniture using brushes, spray guns, or rollers.
Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces for finish coats.
Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or using water and/or abrasive blasting.
Cover surfaces with appropriate material for protection during painting and post appropriate paint signs.
Clean up and store paint and painting tools and equipment in appropriate areas.
Coordinate with vendor in order to modify colors of paint, stain, or varnish.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
Complete safety training and certifications.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Protect company assets.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
Anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
Assist individuals with disabilities.
Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
