About The Position

Harmony Senior Services is seeking an experienced Painter based around the Savannah, Georgia area to handle painting needs at the Harmony at Savannah community. The Painter prepares surfaces, applies paint and other finishes, and ensures projects meet high-quality standards. The position requires some travel and proficiency in various painting techniques, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Pay is issued biweekly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience working as a professional painter.
• Valid state driver’s license in good standing.

Nice To Haves

• Cabinet painting experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Mix paints and other materials according to specifications, using knowledge of color theory.
• Read and interpret schematics and project plans to ensure designs are executed accurately.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during the painting process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout projects.
