About The Position

Ad-Tech Industries is seeking motivated individuals to join our Powder Paint Department as a Painter Trainee / Powder Painter. No previous powder coating experience is required as we are willing to train the right candidate. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, take pride in producing high-quality finished products, and are looking for a stable career with opportunities to learn and grow.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Willingness to learn and receive on-the-job training.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Previous manufacturing or painting experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Apply powder coating using handheld spray equipment.
• Read and interpret work orders, paint codes, and production instructions.
• Inspect parts before and after painting to ensure quality standards are met.
• Monitor paint coverage and identify defects such as light paint, heavy paint, or contamination.
• Adjust equipment as needed to maintain consistent quality.
• Clean and maintain paint equipment and work area.
• Safely handle materials and follow all company safety procedures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist in other departments as production needs require.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors.
