About The Position

The Painter/Renovation Technician performs a variety of skilled jobs in and around the Medical Center and off-site facilities. The role is responsible for installing finish materials, including painting, plastering, wall coverings, drop ceilings, flooring, sheet rock, door jambs, and windows. The technician uses blueprints, diagrams, and manufacturers’ recommendations to perform the work.

This is a full-time position of 80 hours per two-week pay period, with typical hours Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three to five years of job-related experience or graduation from trade school.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of skilled jobs in and around the Medical Center and off-site facilities.
• Install finish materials, including paint, plaster, wall coverings, drop ceilings, flooring, sheet rock, door jambs, and windows.
• Use blueprints, diagrams, and manufacturers’ recommendations to perform job duties.
