About The Position
The Painter/Loader is mainly responsible for painting and preparing structural steel and assisting with loading and unloading steel from trucks as required. This role supports the fabrication shop and requires flexibility to work various schedules, including overtime and Saturdays. The position involves working in different environmental conditions and requires physical stamina.
Requirements
- Experience painting and using paint sprayers to apply paint
- Must have experience with overhead crane
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by functioning and communicating in an effective manner with co-workers, clients, and supervisors
- Works in compliance with Kinsley's safety policies and procedures
- Must be flexible to work any schedule needed including overtime and Saturdays as needed
- Basic math skills are required
- Must be able to tolerate hot and cold working environment
- Must be able to stand on feet for up to 10 hours
- Must be organized and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Prep and paint structural steel
- Operate forklift as needed
- Perform rigging work to move materials as required
- Load and unload steel from trucks
- Perform other duties as required to support the fabrication shop
