About The Position

Perform painting and surface preparation duties per United Engines specifications and the specifications of the product manufacturer. Work inside the paint booth, shop, wash bay or outdoors. Operates, cleans, and maintains all painting equipment. Correct prepare and tape off surfaces before painting. Safely hang parts for painting. Carefully remove painted parts from racks and prepare for shipping. Maintain a strong, personal commitment to the safety culture. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma/general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic knowledge of industrial painting and bodywork.
• Ability to read blueprints and paint codes and mix paint.
• Ability to use various types of measuring devices.
• Must be capable of utilizing proper PPE.

Responsibilities

• Use paints, solvents, and other chemicals used to prepare surfaces while painting and/or cleaning.
