About The Position
The Painter Helper will be responsible for assisting in the painting process, ensuring production schedules are met without compromising quality or safety standards. This role involves various tasks related to preparing, painting, and finishing valves and small parts.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience painting or sandblasting.
Responsibilities
- Strive to meet production schedules without sacrifice to quality or health and safety standards.
- Clean and wipe down valves.
- Tape all ID tags and levers.
- Put socket weld or buttweld covers on valves.
- Prime valves and let them dry.
- Paint valves and let them dry.
- Remove all tape and blow off valves, ensuring they are free of dust and grit.
- Clean levers and place valves on pallets.
- May perform any other work-related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by immediate supervisor.
- Operate Forklift when needed.
- Operate a blast cabinet for blasting small parts.
