About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Painter & Finishes Tech for the 3rd shift at the Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center. This role involves repairing walls, ceilings, and other surfaces, both inside and out, and performing various preventive maintenance tasks. The property is a high-end private hotel and conference center, closed to the public, with 1,400 hotel rooms, nine restaurants and lounges, and extensive meeting space. Associates have access to a fitness center, jogging trails, and sports fields. The clientele is professional, and the location is in Westlake, Texas.

Requirements

Interior painting experience required.
Able to work independently on paint jobs.
Must be able to properly patch and paint walls, ceilings, doors, trim, etc.
Ability to use tools associated with the trade, such as brushes, rollers, sprayers, etc.

Nice To Haves

The ability to repair vinyl, faux, tile surfaces preferred.
Texas Driver’s License with good driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs finishes repairs and touch ups to various surfaces throughout the hotel and meeting space.
Performs preventative maintenance and maintains logs in an organized manner.
Identifies problems, initiates work orders, accomplishes assigned work orders, and completes all necessary repairs relating to their expertise.
Responsible for correct use of building systems such as Building Management System and Life Safety Systems (training provided).
Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace.
Responsible for maintaining inventory of tools in use.
Work in a safe manner including proper use of PPE and following safety protocols.
Responsible for correct use of maintenance request system (training provided).
Assist with maintenance requests for other trades, as needed.
