About The Position

Acts Construction is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Painter / Finisher position. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine to complex surface preparation, selecting appropriate paint materials, and using various application techniques to achieve a high-quality finish. Removes old finishes and preps surface for interior and/or exterior painting. Applies coats of primer, paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings, other structures, and/or equipment. Assists with ordering paint materials, estimating amount of paint needed, and coordinating schedule with other phases of work. Maintains inventory of supplies, including paint brushes, tarps, chemicals, etc.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 7-10 years of painting experience
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • Construction or maintenance related experience is preferred
