About The Position

Responsible for performing various tasks involving the movement of materials, production line assignments and wood floor installation in a manufacturing facility. Incumbents are also required to perform other miscellaneous tasks, as assigned by his or her supervisor. $1000 Sign-on/Retention Bonus Available

Requirements

Basic understanding of production processes, quality control, and manufacturing practices preferred
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds on a consistent basis
Ability to safely and repetitively operate hand-held power tools for extended periods
Ability to perform repetitive hand movements including grasping, gripping, and material handling
Ability to stand, squat, and kneel for extended periods of time
Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat and cold
Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and improve
Dependable attendance and punctuality, with reliable transportation

Responsibilities

Perform all work in a safe manner while meeting established quality standards
Follow all prescribed procedures, standard work, and company guidelines
Assemble trailer components as directed by the floor supervisor
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; properly care for tools and equipment
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and expectations
Maintain a high level of attention to detail and task focus
Comply with all safety rules and quality requirements
Collaborate with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
Uphold all applicable OSHA and workplace safety standards
Perform daily cleanup of assigned work area
