About The Position

The Finishing Technician is responsible for applying finished component parts according to specifications in an accurate and professional manner.

Requirements

• One to three years manufacturing work experience
• Ability to operate machinery
• Ability to manually assemble
• Must be willing and able to learn
• Proficient in operating measuring tools including rulers, calculators, scales, Zahn cups, thermometer, stopwatch, and measuring tape
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot issues
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as specifications and procedures
• Must have good verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 15lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Operate finishing machinery including bone rubber, flamer, knob engraver, cupper, striper, pad printer, drill press, clam shell sealer, and shrink wrap
• Assemble decorative finishing components including dip colors, pad printing, labeling, knob engraving, laser fill, handle taping, striping as defined on the traveler and work order
• Apply graphics using water decal, solution decal, or sticker application methods
• Perform final decal inspection and removal of decal film
• Package products for shipping, including boxing, clam shelling, shrink wrap, vacuum sealing, warranty cards, warning stickers, etc. according to specifications listed on the work order
