About The Position

The Painter-Carpenter maintains and enhances the physical integrity and appearance of Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s healthcare facilities. The role includes regular maintenance, renovations, and compliance with safety and health regulations, including those from OSHA and The Joint Commission. Work must be completed within strict deadlines while minimizing disruption to the healthcare environment. The position collaborates with maintenance, engineering, and administrative staff to manage work orders and projects, and handles both routine maintenance and urgent repairs, requiring flexibility and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

Five years of previous carpenter/painter experience in a hospital environment.
Complete ICRA training within one year of hire.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Minnesota Driver’s License.
Self-directed work style.
Excellent communication skills.
Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.
Skilled in using hand and power tools.
Adaptable to changing priorities.
