About The Position

The Painter-Carpenter maintains and enhances the physical integrity and appearance of Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s healthcare facilities. The position performs regular maintenance and renovations while following safety and health regulations, including those established by OSHA and the Joint Commission. The work involves meeting strict deadlines and minimizing disruption to the healthcare environment. The Painter-Carpenter collaborates with maintenance, engineering, and administrative staff to manage and complete work orders and projects. Duties include routine maintenance as well as responding to urgent repair needs, requiring adaptability and problem-solving.

Requirements

Five years of previous carpenter/painter experience in a hospital environment.
Complete ICRA training within one year of hire.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Minnesota Driver's License.
Skilled in using hand and power tools.
Excellent communication skills.
Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.
Self-directed, adaptable, and able to respond to changing priorities.
