About The Position

Nolan Painting in Havertown, PA is looking for hardworking go-getters to join their team as a full-time Painter Apprentice. This role offers real opportunities for career growth within an established company that invests in its team. The position typically works Monday - Friday, 8.5 hours per day, starting at 7:00 or 7:30 am, with seasonal overtime available. As a Painter Apprentice, you will learn the skills needed to advance in the company, assist in setting up and cleaning job sites, prepare surfaces for painting (covering, sanding, caulking, priming), and learn best painting techniques for cutting in, rolling walls, and rolling ceilings. You will also learn about different painting products and their applications. The role involves working as part of a close-knit team that values hard work, fun, and skill development.

Requirements

Ability to lift and maneuver 20-50 lbs. frequently and 50-100 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to use ladders and power equipment.
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time.
Strong work ethic.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance.
Good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Set up and clean up the job site.
Keep the job site clean and orderly.
Prepare surfaces for painting by covering surfaces, sanding, caulking, and priming.
Learn and practice best painting techniques for cutting in, rolling walls, and rolling ceilings.
Learn the differences between painting products and their proper applications.
Greet customers and interact with team members.
Work as part of a team.
