Painter Apprentice
About The Position
Nolan Painting in Lansdale, PA is looking for a full-time Painter Apprentice to join their team. The Painter Apprentice will learn the skills needed to advance within the company, interact positively with customers and team members, and maintain a clean and orderly job site. Responsibilities include preparing surfaces for painting (covering, sanding, caulking, priming), learning and practicing painting techniques (cutting in, rolling walls and ceilings), and understanding different painting products and their applications. The job is described as gratifying and rewarding, with an emphasis on teamwork and skill development.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and maneuver 20-50 lbs. frequently and 50-100 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to use ladders and power equipment
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time
- Strong work ethic
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance
- Good customer service skills
Responsibilities
- Learn the skills needed to rise up in the company.
- Greet customers and interact with team members.
- Set up and clean up the job site.
- Keep the job site clean and orderly.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by covering surfaces, sanding, caulking, and priming.
- Learn and practice painting techniques for cutting in, rolling walls, and rolling ceilings.
- Learn the differences between painting products and their proper applications.
