About The Position

The Painter and Surface Prep Technician prepares, sands, masks, mixes paint, and applies coatings to repaired aircraft components. The employer is open to candidates from aviation or related industries such as automotive, industrial, manufacturing, or marine, and is seeking someone with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality. This is a full-time opportunity paying $18–$20 per hour. Full-time associates become eligible for health benefits on the first day of the month after 30 days of employment. Requirements

At least 2 years of sanding and painting experience.
Experience mixing paint with catalysts.
Experience using painting equipment.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
High school graduate or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Aviation experience.
Experience in automotive, industrial, manufacturing, marine, or a similar industry.

Responsibilities

Prepare aircraft components for painting by sanding, cleaning, masking, and performing surface preparation.
Mix paints and catalysts according to manufacturer specifications.
Apply primers and topcoats to repaired aircraft components.
Inspect completed work for quality and consistency.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Properly handle paints, solvents, and related materials.
Coordinate with production and repair teams to meet quality standards and delivery schedules.
Follow company procedures and safety requirements.
