About The Position

The Work involves surface preparation, masking, and priming. Responsibilities include mixing and matching paint to achieve OEM color standards, applying basecoat, clearcoat, and blending finishes. The role also includes final finish work such as buffing, polishing, and quality inspection, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the booth and equipment to ensure production readiness.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
• Must be able to work in a shop environment with noise, odors, and paint fumes
• Respirator fit required
• Technical school OR 3+ years of automotive paint experience
• Strong color matching and blending skills
• Experience with waterborne and solvent-based systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• I-CAR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
