About The Position

SAIC has an opening for an entry level Paint Shop Technician in Indianapolis, IN. This position will be 2nd shift, 3:00pm EST to 11:30pm EST.

Requirements

• Entry level position
• Ability to adapt and overcome when appropriate.
• Follow ISO9000 and AS9100 standard processes and procedures.
• Job tracking, data entry, and paperwork.
• Follow corporate and local office policies and procedures including daily timecard recording and Email checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform sanding, cleaning, masking, and other tasking related to the preparation and completion of industrial parts for military coating finishes.
• Working as a team and individually towards a common goal with clear communication efforts.
• Follow standard and common shop processes to perform work tasking but also be able to 'adapt and overcome' when appropriate.
• Follow ISO9000 and AS9100 standard processes and procedures.
• Job tracking, data entry, and paperwork as deemed necessary.
• Project scheduling and demands are fluid thus tasking may deviate when necessary.
• Follow corporate and local office policies and procedures including but not limited to; daily timecard recording and Email checks.
