Paint Room Attendant/Delivery
About The Position
This role is responsible for various tasks within the paint room and delivery operations. Key functions include understanding and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures, operating industrial equipment, working with adhesives and solvents, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The position also involves efficient operation of production processes, quality control, equipment setup and maintenance, and active participation in continuous improvement initiatives. Associates are expected to comply with IATF 16949, ISO9001, and ISO 14001 standards to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous quality improvement. The shift for this position is 1st Shift, from 6:50 AM to 3:10 PM.
Requirements
- Able to drive power industrial trucks
- Work with adhesives and solvents
- Able to operate a 55-gallon drum crane
- Maintain a safe work environment
- 5S - Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Efficient operation of production processes in accordance with established manufacturing and operation standards
- Maintain production reporting requirements
- Maintain quality on all products
- Set-up, operation, and preventative maintenance of equipment as required
- Fulfill the physical demands of the position
- Be a vital part of the continuous improvement process
- Agree to be a team member of an improvement team when asked
- Participate in collect & reveal identification
- Assist management staff in maintaining a positive work environment
- Associates at all levels must maintain their Roles and Responsibilities as outlined within SRK-OH’s policies and procedures to ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO9001, and ISO 14001.
