About The Position

Daifuku is a U.S.-based provider of intelligent material handling systems, designing, manufacturing, integrating, and installing intralogistics solutions. The Paint Prepper loads and unloads parts on a continuous powder coat line while maintaining an organized and safe work area. The position assists the team lead as needed to support team productivity and efficiency. Employees must comply with Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures and help ensure sustainable process outputs that promote continuous improvement, strong industry performance, and customer satisfaction.

This is a full-time, first-shift role, Monday through Friday, from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of related experience.
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and numerical instructions.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Team-oriented.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

• Crane operation experience preferred but not required.
• Forklift operation experience preferred but not required.
• Big Joe operation experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Select proper hanging devices.
• Identify parts related to work orders.
• Load and unload parts on the powder coat line.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area.
• Assist the team lead as needed to maintain team productivity and efficiency.
• Comply with Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.
• Help ensure sustainable process outputs and continuous improvement.
