About The Position

The Tinter role requires the ability to perceive color accurately and follow work orders. Success in this position depends on being self-motivated, comfortable with repetitive, fast-paced tasks, and maintaining a high level of quality. The daily routine involves preparing the tint machine, reviewing the workload, and using an electric pallet jack to retrieve paint bases from the warehouse. You will then use a computer to follow specific formulas to mix paint according to customer orders, ensuring the correct color is produced. After mixing, you will verify color accuracy, restock the product, complete necessary paperwork including printing a Bill of Lading (BOL), and wrap the pallets. Finally, the mixed paint will be transported to the designated area for shipment preparation.

Requirements

Must be able to see color and notice minor color differences.
Excellent attendance is crucial.
Commitment to safety.
Must wear safety glasses while tinting.
Physical ability to be on your feet for the entire shift.
Ability to lift individual paint cans or full cases (up to 4 cans) weighing up to 75 pounds several times a day.
A high school diploma or GED is required.
