Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree required. Six years work related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Work experience combined with current schooling towards degree will be considered.
  • Working knowledge of Industrial Electrical and PLC.
  • Ability to perform work while standing or walking a minimum of eight (8) hours a day.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Ability to perform work that is below the knees and above the shoulders on an occasional basis.
  • Ability to climb stairs is necessary.
  • Ability to wear a respirator is necessary.
  • Good vision at a close distance is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman’s card preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain records of work performed as required using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and work order procedure.
  • Troubleshoot, repair or replace all components of Norplas equipment, including electrical, hydraulics, mechanical, piping, pumps, and pneumatics in the Paint Department and Mechanical Room.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on all equipment in the Paint Department and Mechanical Room per the CMMS.
  • Use required hand tools for the paint department and have all tools and equipment required to perform work.
  • Read parts breakdown and machine schematics.
  • Involved in the management of hazardous waste and attend annual training.
  • Troubleshoot and repair paint maintenance equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance as required.
  • Perform maintenance on conveyor systems.
  • Read schematics and pass a basic math test.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
