Requirements

Associate’s Degree required. Six years work related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Work experience combined with current schooling towards degree will be considered.
Working knowledge of Industrial Electrical and PLC.
Ability to perform work while standing or walking a minimum of eight (8) hours a day.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
Ability to perform work that is below the knees and above the shoulders on an occasional basis.
Ability to climb stairs is necessary.
Ability to wear a respirator is necessary.
Good vision at a close distance is required.

Nice To Haves

Journeyman’s card preferred.
Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain records of work performed as required using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and work order procedure.
Troubleshoot, repair or replace all components of Norplas equipment, including electrical, hydraulics, mechanical, piping, pumps, and pneumatics in the Paint Department and Mechanical Room.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on all equipment in the Paint Department and Mechanical Room per the CMMS.
Use required hand tools for the paint department and have all tools and equipment required to perform work.
Read parts breakdown and machine schematics.
Involved in the management of hazardous waste and attend annual training.
Troubleshoot and repair paint maintenance equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance as required.
Perform maintenance on conveyor systems.
Read schematics and pass a basic math test.
Other tasks as assigned.
