About The Position
The Paint Line Technician will work in our paint production facility located in the distribution center. As a Paint Line Technician, you will apply coatings with all types of spray equipment to meet coverage, performance, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Able to communicate effectively with a team and have organizational skills.
- Willing to work overtime.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for 8 hours.
Nice To Haves
- Machine operation and/or paint line experience preferred.
- Willingness to train team members.
- Ability to lead a team effectively and positively.
- Flexibility in possible shift changes.
Responsibilities
- Follow verbal directions.
- Understand written policies and guidelines, specifications, and safety standards.
- Operate production line equipment effectively and efficiently.
- Prepare product for coating, coat product, and keep production moving.
- Mix and spray all products used in process.
- Troubleshoot machine failures and make minor adjustments.
- Work in accordance with quality & safety, standards, policies, and guidelines.
- Assist others in maximizing efficiency when available.
