What We’re Looking For: You have direct manufacturing experience; experience with powder coat paint systems is even better! You have leadership experience and the ability to create a team first mindset in your area. You are comfortable working with Plant Leadership to execute and achieve the goals for your department. You keep safety a top priority and make sure your team understands and follows proper procedures and techniques. You are an effective communicator who likes working with a diverse team. You are a problem solver who enjoys working with others.

Requirements

  • At least two years of management experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience working on a powder coat paint line
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and operating machinery
  • Familiarity with basic math and measurements
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
  • Comfortable on a forklift and using pallet jacks
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Executing the Production Plan set by Plant Leadership
  • Interpreting standard production drawings and job specifications to ensure your team executes builds successfully
  • Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and quality of output
  • Trouble shoot repairs needed for equipment and/or defective materials
  • Manage safety of all employees and machine/tool usage
  • Review and approve weekly timecards and manage the team's schedule/time off requests
  • Train and develop your team members
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Focus on building products
