About The Position

Fluidstack is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paint Line / Surface Treatment Engineer to own the paint line and surface treatment processes, including pretreatment, coating application, and cure at production rate. This role involves engineering the process, including chemistry and film builds, to meet specifications and cost targets. The engineer will commission the line, qualify coatings with suppliers, and ensure quality and environmental compliance, including appearance, adhesion, salt spray, and permits. Requirements

  • Engineered industrial paint or coating operations, liquid or powder, at scale.
  • Solved adhesion, contamination, or cure problems to root cause.
  • Managed pretreatment chemistry with suppliers.
  • Run a line under air permit constraints and kept it compliant.
  • Tested to standards and acted on the results.
