About The Position

Responsible for preparing materials and components prior to coating and handling finished products after coating. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role with opportunities to learn and grow within the company.

Requirements

Must be able to use a tape measure and understand basic tools.
Must be able to work successfully in a team environment and/or independently and able to take direction from others. Self-Starter, Team Player.
Heavy lifting (up to 60 pounds), bending, and stooping throughout shift.
Ability to work while standing for long periods (10-12 hour shifts) with heavy lifting continuously under extreme temperatures.
Must demonstrate consistent punctuality and reliable attendance.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Powder Coat is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Prep parts and materials to ensure proper coating coverage.
Load or unload products from the overhead conveyor according to production schedules.
Handle unpainted parts as a loader and painted parts as an unloader.
Package finished products as required.
Follow all safety protocols, including start-up/shut-down procedures.
Perform basic quality checks on finished and unfinished parts.
Organize and stage materials before and after coating.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Support the powder coating team as needed.
Perform assigned tasks in a timely and orderly manner.
Maintain high quality standard for products being painted.
Additional duties as assigned by leads, supervisors, and management.
