About The Position

Located at our Byron Center, MI location, the Paint Lead collaborates with our paint team and oversees day to day start up, running and shut down of the paint line to produce the highest quality product. At Lumbermen’s, our business is built on relationships. It’s crucial that the person selected to fill this role is a safety minded team player who gets energy from contributing to collaborative success. This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance for uniform, protective footwear, and PPE.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to policies as a top priority
  • Able to lead by example and lead others to success
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Effectiveness in providing clarity to team in achieving company goals and objectives
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Able to reach, grasp, bend, and stoop
  • Able to be on feet 8 hours per day
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs. repetitively/continuously

Nice To Haves

  • Paint/stain experience preferred
  • Leadership experience preferred
