About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Paint Helper to support our painting operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in preparing surfaces and executing quality finishes while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials (up to 50 lbs), and work at various heights, including ladders
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
• Willingness to learn and develop painting skills
• Comfortable working with chemicals and paint fumes in a manufacturing setting

Nice To Haves

• Previous painting, manufacturing, or construction experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and applying protective coverings to ensure clean, smooth finishes
• Apply primers and paints using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment according to specifications
• Perform touch-ups and quality inspections to maintain consistent finish quality
• Mix paints and solvents to specified colors and viscosity
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including proper disposal of materials
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and chemical handling procedures
• Work collaboratively with painting team members to meet production schedules
