About The Position

Caliber Collision is hiring an Auto Painter Helper to prepare vehicles for painting in cooperation with the Auto Painter and support an efficient workflow. Duties may include sanding and buffing, as well as maintaining the paint booth and workspace. Helpers repair vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards using state-of-the-art equipment. The position is based at the Service Center in National City. Pay is $20–$23 per hour. Employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits from day one, paid weekly, and may be eligible for overtime if hourly. Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license and eligibility for coverage under Caliber's insurance policy.
Eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.
Ability to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 pounds.
Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
Ability to prioritize competing tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous collision experience.
Collision Vo-Tech certification.
