About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens opportunity for a Pain Medicine Physician in Woodruff, WI. The role involves outpatient clinical coverage, focusing on pain management patients. The physician will conduct office visits, perform procedures such as spinal cord stimulation and radio-frequency ablation, develop treatment plans, collaborate with staff, and maintain medical records using Epic EMR. The coverage period is ASAP and ongoing, with flexible scheduling options of either 2 weeks on/2 weeks off or 1 week on/1 week off. The average daily patient volume is 15.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC)
- Licensed in WI or IMLC
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Fellowship required
Responsibilities
- Conduct office visits and follow-up appointments for pain management patients.
- Perform spinal cord stimulation, radio-frequency ablation, and injections.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for chronic pain patients.
- Collaborate with support staff and other healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate medical records using Epic EMR.
