About The Position
We are seeking a Pain Medicine Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Woodruff, WI. This is an outpatient role focusing on clinical services only. The coverage period is from August 3, 2026, ongoing, with a flexible Monday-Friday schedule from 7 AM to 3 PM. The reason for coverage is a vacancy requiring supplemental staffing. The agency will cover travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance. The physician will manage an average daily volume of 15 patients and will utilize the Epic EMR system. Support staff includes 4 RNs and 2 office staff.
Requirements
- Board Certified
- Licensed in WI or Universal License (IMLC)
- BLS, ACLS certifications
- Fellowship required
- Act 10 certification acceptable
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient pain medicine services including office visits, follow-up visits, and procedures
- Perform spinal cord stimulation, radio-frequency ablation, and injections
- Work a flexible schedule of 2 weeks on/2 weeks off, 5 days per week, 7a-3p
- Collaborate with support staff (RNs and office staff)
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
