Requirements
- Diploma Of Nursing Graduate of an accredited school of nursing , upon hire
- Registered Nurse: KY, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days
Nice To Haves
- 1-3 years Pain Management experience of one to two years, upon hire
Responsibilities
- Assumes responsibility for acquiring knowledge and skills necessary for patient care in the identified practice setting.
- Organizes and prioritizes patient care duties as assigned, demonstrating independent functions and self- direction.
- Performs assessment and analyzes patient problems and conditions using critical decision making to determine need for standard, urgent or emergent interventions.
- Administers medications according to organizational policies and procedures, regulatory requirements and acceptable standards of practice.
- Documents assessments and interventions in accordance with hospital policy and standards of care.
- Addresses patient phone calls by the end of the day with physician direction.
