About The Position
Pain Management physician needed for a multi-specialty group. This role involves working 1-2 days per week in an outpatient pain management clinic serving an adult-geriatric patient population. The physician will provide comprehensive chronic pain care, with the clinic operating Monday through Friday. There is no call required, and the daily patient census is between 8-12 patients. The position offers a supportive medical staff and team, competitive compensation, and A+ rated malpractice coverage.
Requirements
- Assignment length: 6 or 12 months
- BE/BC-Pain Management
- Active, unrestricted state medical license
- ACLS, BLS
- Current DEA
- 3 Current References
Responsibilities
- Evaluation and treatment of patients
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies such as laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and electrocardiograms
- Prescribing (including opioid) and administering medications as appropriate
- Provide comprehensive chronic pain care
