Centra Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for their Pain Medicine and Brain & Spine service line in Lynchburg, Virginia. This outpatient opportunity involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive care in Pain Medicine, Centra Spine Clinic, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuroendovascular surgery, and Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Services. The integrated care model supports patients from diagnosis through recovery. The practice is located in a new, state-of-the-art medical office building designed for advanced specialty care, featuring modern clinical spaces and a dedicated procedure room for in-office interventions.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program, and Master's of Science Degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Minimum of five (5+) years of progressive experience in area of specialization
- Current licensure by the Virginia State Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority.
- Maintains BLS and ACLS Certifications.
- Hold a current, active license as a registered nurse in Virginia or hold a current multistate licensure privilege as a registered nurse.
- Nationally recognized certification in field of specialization
Responsibilities
- Patient evaluations and follow-up visits
- Treatment planning and care management
- Ordering and reviewing labs and imaging
- Pre-procedure assessments
- Minor office procedures, including trigger point and joint injections
