About The Position

At Medtronic, you can begin a life-long career of exploration and innovation, while helping champion healthcare access and equity for all. You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world. As one of three comprehensive portfolios at Medtronic, Neuroscience is dedicated to improving the lives of people living with neurological disorders, spine conditions, and chronic pain. Guided by our Mission—to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life—we develop technologies and therapies that help people regain function, reduce pain, and return to the activities that matter most. Our Neuromodulation operating unit delivers advanced therapies for chronic pain, movement disorders, and nervous system conditions, offering SCS, DBS, and targeted drug delivery. Through proven technology, clinical evidence, and innovation, we provide personalized solutions that restore function and enhance quality of life. Medtronic pioneered neuromodulation through landmark innovations - from the first spinal cord stimulator (SCS) for chronic pain to deep brain stimulation systems (DBS) and implantable targeted drug delivery (TDD) - continuing a 40+ year legacy of advancing patient care through bold science and collaboration. Within this space, Medtronic Neuromodulation R&D develops cutting-edge therapies that modulate the nervous system; the Pain Interventions Senior Scientist plays a key role on this team, reporting to the Pain Interventions Research Manager.
