About The Position

This role is designed for someone who lives and breathes paid social performance but has become increasingly fascinated by the creative side of growth. The ideal candidate may currently be a Paid Social Manager, Performance Marketing Manager, Growth Marketer, or Media Buyer, and understands that creative is often the biggest lever for performance. This position offers the opportunity to move closer to creative strategy and have a direct impact on what gets made, tested, and scaled. Launch With Us is building a company focused on helping ambitious brands scale through world-class paid media and performance creative, managing over £10M in annual media spend across Meta and TikTok. The company operates with speed, autonomy, and a high level of ownership, with progression driven by impact rather than tenure. The Paid Social Creative Strategist will sit at the intersection of paid media, consumer psychology, and creative strategy, using performance data, audience insights, and platform expertise to shape creative direction for fast-growing consumer brands. The role involves identifying content to be created, explaining its potential effectiveness, outlining testing strategies, and determining next steps for performance improvement. Working collaboratively with founders, media buyers, editors, creators, and account leads, the strategist will develop scalable creative systems that drive measurable growth. This is an ideal transition for someone with a strong paid social background seeking a more creative and strategic role while maintaining a performance-driven mindset.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in creative strategy, performance marketing, paid social, or a related discipline.
  • A proven track record of leading creative strategy across multiple high-growth brands.
  • Strong experience developing high-performing creative for Meta, TikTok, and other performance channels.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring or managing strategists, editors, designers, or creative teams.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to connect creative decisions directly to performance outcomes.
  • Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of what drives profitable growth for DTC and e-commerce brands.
  • Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience presenting strategic recommendations to founders, senior leadership teams, and key decision-makers.
  • Deep understanding of consumer psychology, behavioural drivers, and conversion principles.
  • A proactive, ownership-led mindset with a desire to continuously improve both your work and those around you.

Responsibilities

  • Own creative strategy across a portfolio of key client accounts, acting as the senior strategic lead and trusted advisor.
  • Define and lead creative testing frameworks, experimentation roadmaps, and strategic priorities aligned to client growth objectives.
  • Conduct quarterly strategic planning sessions and creative reviews with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Translate performance data, customer insights, and market intelligence into actionable creative strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to unlock growth through new creative angles, messaging strategies, offers, and positioning.
  • Lead the development of performance-driven creative strategies across Meta, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
  • Analyze creative performance data and transform insights into clear recommendations, testing plans, and optimization opportunities.
  • Oversee the ideation, scripting, briefing, and development of UGC, creator content, high-production campaigns, motion, and design assets.
  • Develop scalable creative frameworks that improve efficiency while maintaining creative quality and performance.
  • Ensure all creative output is strategically aligned, performance-led, and reflective of client objectives.
  • Mentor and develop Creative Strategists, providing coaching, strategic guidance, and structured feedback.
  • Lead editors, designers, creators, and production partners by providing clear creative direction and performance context.
  • Review and elevate creative briefs before production to ensure strategic rigor and consistency.
  • Raise the quality bar across all creative strategy output and champion best practices throughout the team.
  • Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and developing future creative talent where required.
  • Build trusted relationships with founders, senior stakeholders, and client leadership teams.
  • Present strategic recommendations, creative insights, and performance analysis with confidence and authority.
  • Partner closely with account leads to improve client retention, growth, and overall account performance.
  • Proactively identify commercial opportunities that create additional value for clients and support agency growth.
  • Maintain proactive communication, surfacing opportunities and risks early while guiding clients towards the highest-impact actions.
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, consumer behavior shifts, competitive activity, and emerging creative formats.
  • Champion the use of AI, automation, and innovative creative workflows to improve output quality and efficiency.
  • Establish and refine internal creative processes, frameworks, and operating systems.
  • Share learnings, performance insights, and best practices across the wider team.
  • Drive continuous improvement in creative performance, testing velocity, and operational effectiveness.
  • Raise the quality and strategic sophistication of creative output across the agency.
  • Act as a mentor and role model for junior team members.
  • Influence cross-functional teams including media buying, account management, production, and leadership.
  • Champion experimentation, innovation, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Help shape the future direction of Launch With Us' creative offering.
