About The Position

Vida is seeking an experienced, analytical Paid Search Manager to manage and grow paid search programs across multiple direct-to-consumer brands in its portfolio. The role independently owns day-to-day strategy, execution, optimization, testing, reporting, and performance management for assigned brands, while working closely with the Senior Manager, Paid Search and Director of Paid Media. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience managing significant Google Ads budgets across e-commerce accounts and a track record of growing revenue and improving ROAS, combining technical platform knowledge with commercial judgment to scale revenue efficiently. The manager oversees paid search and Shopping campaigns across Google Search, Google Shopping, Performance Max, Demand Gen, and Microsoft Ads. The position includes campaign and product-feed management, performance analysis, budget pacing, testing, and reporting. Success involves growing profitable revenue, meeting business targets, maintaining strong Merchant Center and feed health, identifying growth opportunities, and communicating clear recommendations to the Senior Manager, Paid Search. The posting is marked #LIREMOTE.

Requirements

  • 5–6+ years of hands-on paid search and Google Ads experience, preferably in an agency, multi-brand organization, or D2C/e-commerce business.
  • Strong experience independently managing multiple paid search accounts simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience managing significant paid media budgets and accountability for revenue and ROAS goals.
  • Strong D2C/e-commerce experience and understanding of paid search’s contribution to business growth.
  • Advanced hands-on knowledge of Google Search, Google Shopping, Performance Max, Demand Gen, Google Merchant Center, and Microsoft Advertising.
  • Advanced understanding of Google Smart Bidding, including Target ROAS and value-based bidding strategies.
  • Strong experience with Shopping campaign structures, product segmentation, and product-level performance analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Merchant Center and product feeds.
  • Strong understanding of campaign structures, match types, keyword strategy, search-term analysis, and negative keyword management.
  • Ability to determine whether performance issues are driven by bidding, budget, feed quality, campaign structure, conversion rate, tracking, competition, seasonality, or other factors.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce KPIs, including revenue, ROAS, conversion rate, CPA, AOV, CPC, impression share, and profitability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to turn complex performance data into actionable recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to QA campaign setups, budgets, conversion tracking, feeds, URLs, promotions, and account changes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple brands, projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to proactively bring recommendations and growth opportunities rather than relying solely on direction from senior leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with D2C retail, footwear, fashion, apparel, accessories, or consumer brands.
  • Experience managing large e-commerce product catalogs and Shopping-heavy accounts.
  • Experience managing high-spend Google Ads accounts.

  • Experience with Performance Max channel analysis and understanding the interaction between Search, Shopping, YouTube, Display, and other inventory within Performance Max.
  • Experience evaluating new customer acquisition, brand versus non-brand performance, and incremental growth opportunities.

  • Work with product feeds and feed management platforms to improve Shopping and Performance Max performance.
  • Analyze and optimize product-feed attributes, including titles, descriptions, product types, Google product categories, custom labels, pricing, availability, images, and promotional information.
  • Develop product segmentation strategies using custom labels and other feed attributes, and partner with internal teams and feed management partners to improve product data quality and feed health.

  • Develop structured testing roadmaps covering bidding, campaign structure, Performance Max, Broad Match, landing pages, ad copy, audiences, feeds, promotions, and emerging Google Ads products.
  • Analyze revenue, ROAS, spend, conversion rate, CPA, CPC, average order value, impression share, and other e-commerce KPIs.
  • Diagnose performance changes and communicate what changed, why it changed, and what actions should follow.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Proactively identify performance risks, account issues, testing opportunities, and areas for incremental growth.
  • Stay current on Google Ads product updates, automation, AI-driven campaign capabilities, and changes in paid search.
