About The Position

West End Strategy Team is accepting applications for a part-time paid internship position for the fall 2026 term (September-December) in our Washington, D.C. office. We welcome undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds to apply. West End Strategy Team is a premier, full-service strategic communications firm focused on expanding social justice, racial and gender equity and human rights. We partner with clients to drive meaningful change through strategic communications, including earned media strategy, messaging, digital strategy and crisis communications. Through our work with clients, we’ve protected and expanded voting rights and built support for diplomacy, gun violence prevention legislation and a stronger safety net. We’ve campaigned for gender equity and racial justice, secured stays of deportation, helped more refugees come to the United States, and supported the preservation of public lands. We work on the cutting-edge issues of the moment as we partner with leading organizations working to make our world a better place. Interns based in the D.C.-area will join the team both in person and virtually per our hybrid office model. Interns are expected to work with the team in the office at least one day per week, preferably a Tuesday or Wednesday. In office schedules will be determined between interns and intern coordinators. WEST interns have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working closely with organizations focused on expanding social justice, racial and gender equity and human rights.
