About The Position

Inclusion Family Center, Inc. is offering Master's Degree Level Paid Internship Opportunities for graduate students graduating from accredited Higher Education Institutions in the field of Social Work and/or Mental Health Counseling. The center is a Community Mental Health Center focused on serving diverse populations in high-needs areas such as Brockton and New Bedford and surrounding towns. We have offices in Brockton and New Bedford. This internship is ideal for individuals passionate about working with families and youth affected by developmental trauma, who face barriers such as language, poverty, and education, and require support for their mental health needs. Inclusion Family Center provides a supportive environment for career growth and assists interns in meeting their school and licensing requirements. Applicants should indicate their program, graduation date, and school. Fluency in Haitian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Cape Verdean Creole is preferred. This is an in-person position, suitable for potential interns living or attending school in Brockton and New Bedford or surrounding areas. Access to a vehicle is required.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.
Enrolled in an accredited Higher Education Institution.
Must be graduating Spring 2027 or later.
Passion for working with families and youth affected by developmental trauma.
Willingness to work with populations facing barriers like language, poverty, and education.
Must live or attend school in Brockton and New Bedford or surrounding areas.
Must have access to a vehicle.

Nice To Haves
