About The Position

The Paid Digital Manager builds and runs paid advertising campaigns across the Rise Up Selects portfolio, including their own festivals and concerts, and client events marketed under service agreements. This is a hands-on role requiring daily engagement with ad accounts for campaign building, budget management, performance monitoring, and sales curve protection. The manager will be accountable for the results and return on investment delivered by the campaigns for assigned events. The role involves managing diverse campaigns for various events, such as festivals and concerts across different genres and locations, each with unique audiences and sales targets.

Requirements

  • 3+ years managing paid digital campaigns with direct accountability for performance.
  • Experience in music, live events, or ticketed entertainment strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on platform experience across Meta and Google at minimum; broader platform experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated ownership of real media budgets, not just campaign support.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience valued.
  • Strong working command of paid digital strategy and execution, including audience building and attribution.
  • Comfortable organizing, interrogating, and presenting campaign data.
  • Understanding of creative best practices and what makes an ad work in this category.
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain performance to people who don't live in the ad accounts.
  • Comfortable managing a high volume of simultaneous campaigns without losing the details.
  • Self-starting and organized, able to work independently and across a dynamic team.
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality regarding corporate, strategic, financial, and client information.
  • Energized by a fast-paced environment and motivated by solving problems under real deadlines.
  • Genuinely enjoys live music and the work of building an audience for it.

Responsibilities

  • Build, launch, and manage paid campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat, StackAdapt, X, and other relevant platforms.
  • Develop media plans that align budget, audience, creative, and flighting against ticket sales goals and on-sale timing.
  • Build and maintain target audiences, lookalike models, and retargeting pools across established and new markets.
  • Manage budget pacing against approved plans, flagging variance early and reallocating to protect performance.
  • Coordinate the full campaign process including audiences, assets, copy, tracking, and deployment.
  • Partner with the marketing team on creative direction for paid assets, ensuring what runs matches the brand.
  • Maintain clean tracking infrastructure across platforms, including pixels, conversion events, and attribution setup.
  • Manage first-party data ingestion and audience hygiene, ensuring sales and fan data is deployed effectively and in compliance with applicable law and platform terms.
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies between platform reporting and ticketing data, and resolve them before they distort decisions.
  • Deliver regular performance reporting to marketing leadership and, where applicable, to clients.
  • Track sales pacing against benchmarks by event, genre, and market.
  • Actualize media spend and contribute to post-event recaps covering plan performance, key metrics, and recommendations for the next cycle.
  • Support client reporting obligations under active marketing services agreements, including documentation and backup for billed media spend.
  • Work closely with marketing managers to ensure ad plans reflect the broader campaign strategy.
  • Coordinate with ticketing on tracking, promo codes, and sales data.
  • Support finance on vendor billing, budget reconciliation, and spend reporting.
  • Stay current on emerging platforms, ad formats, measurement changes, and competitive activity.
  • Support day-of-show and festival marketing operations remotely, including real-time campaign adjustments during event weeks.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
