About The Position

Note: We are unable to offer sponsorship. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. Role: Paediatric Care Assistant Location: Wirral Hours: Part time. Week 1: 27 hours (2 night shifts, 3 evening shifts), week 2: 15 hours (1 night shift, 1 evening shift) Payrate: £13.50 per hour Care That Makes Life Possible You’ll care for a child based in The Wirral, working part time shifts, a mix of 5pm – 8pm and 8pm – 8am, from 15 – 27 hours per week to provide safe and consistent care in their own home. They live with global developmental delay, epilepsy, a tracheostomy and quadriplegia and require support with personal care, mobility, medication, companionship and daily living tasks. With nurse-led oversight, individualised clinical training and the wider Komplex Group behind you, you’ll provide the standard of care you’d want for your own family.

Requirements

• Ideally a full UK driving licence
• Experience in care or confidence undertaking clinical training
• Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness
• The ability to follow detailed clinical protocols consistently
• Basic IT skills for communication and record-keeping
• A genuine commitment to safe, person-centred care

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care, medication and clinical interventions
• Managing tracheostomies, ventilation and specialist equipment
• Monitoring clinical observations and recognising deterioration
• Maintaining accurate records and escalating concerns immediately
