About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Pads Welder - 2nd Shift at our Nacogdoches, TX facility! The core hours are Monday-Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $23.75 per hour, plus a $1.35 shift differential. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Requirements

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the Nacogdoches, TX facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

  • Ability to work efficiently in hot environments and tolerate loud noises.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, inside tanks, etc.) using techniques such as MIG welding, TIG welding, manual welding, and tack welding.
  • Inspect personal and others' work to ensure it meets quality standards, addressing issues such as leaking tanks and missing studs.
  • Execute inspection and test procedures, taking corrective action for nonconformance.
  • Maintain accurate production counts and reconcile them with work order requirements.
  • Retrieve and weld covers as needed, and perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
  • Actively participates in problem-solving processes, contributing to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Achieves and maintains target production rates or output levels, ensuring efficient operations and meeting organizational goals.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, ensures efficient material handling, housekeeping practices (5S+), and company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.
