About The Position
The Paddle Sports Attendant is responsible for assisting members with paddle sport amenities. He/she is also responsible for helping for providing a safe and enjoyable paddling experience. Our goal is to deliver The Cliffs Lifestyle to Members, Guests of Members, Corporate Guests, Associates, and Discovery Guests.
Requirements
- Ability to multitask.
- Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to conduct activities related to paddle sports, which include the training of both staff and members on proper techniques and equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Lifeguard, First Aid and CPR Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality programs that meet the needs of the community and members.
- Provide courteous, prompt, and sincere attention to members, guests, participants, and staff.
- Work in conjunction with other Paddle Sports staff, Beach Club staff, and Outdoor Pursuits staff.
- Maintain appropriate relationships with members, participants, and other staff.
- Communicate and enforce policies and guidelines for the paddle sport equipment area.
- Ability to create and participate in instructing various paddle sport activities, which may include but is not limited to equipment orientations, instruction, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and functional equipment area.
- Document any accidents/injuries/incidents.
- Record daily use statistics.
- Share in the responsibility of the total success of the Wellness Department.
