About The Position

Heartline Staffing is hiring a PACU Registered Nurse (RN) for Los Alamos Medical Center in Los Alamos, New Mexico. This is a full-time position in a 47-bed acute care hospital, focusing on post-anesthesia care. The role involves providing direct and indirect patient care after anesthesia and surgical procedures, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse will monitor patient stability, respond to changes in condition, and meet the physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs of patients and families. Collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary teams is essential. The position reports directly to the Director of Surgery, and the nurse will join a leading healthcare provider serving Northern New Mexico communities.

Requirements

Associate Degree in Nursing Required
Active and Unencumbered RN License Required
Current BLS Certification Required
Minimum One Year PACU Experience Required
PALS Certification Required Within 3 Months of Hire
