About The Position

The PACT Co-Occurring Clinical Staff (PCLC, LCPC, SWLC, LCSW) is a Full-Time, Exempt position based in Helena. This role provides case management for an assigned group of clients, coordinating and monitoring the activities of the individual treatment team (ITT). The PCLC assumes primary responsibility for developing, writing, implementing, evaluating, and revising overall treatment goals and plans in conjunction with the ITT. Responsibilities include providing individual supportive therapy and symptom management, ensuring immediate changes are made to treatment plans as client needs evolve, educating and supporting clients' families, and advocating for clients' rights and preferences. The role requires maintaining licensure in the state of Montana and conducting comprehensive assessments of psychiatric history, physical and dental health, substance use, education, employment, social development, activities of daily living, and family structure. Direct clinical services are provided to clients individually, in groups, and with families in both office and community settings to teach behavioral symptom management techniques and promote personal growth. A consistent level of productivity is expected, including achieving three (3) contacts per week per PACT client across the team. The role involves providing individual supportive therapy, social skill development, and assertiveness training. Maintaining and completing clinical records according to MRWH policies is essential. The PCLC will initiate and maintain relationships with external entities such as law enforcement, other human service agencies, and informal community resources like landlords and employers. The position requires availability to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays for medication delivery rotation, as well as performing emergency services and on-call duty for crisis intervention and employee supervision. Consultation services may be provided to other employees and for staffing of cases, as well as to external individuals, agencies, institutions, and groups. A valid Montana driver's license and vehicle insurance are required, and clients may be transported in a personal vehicle. Participation in in-service training and outpatient employee meetings is expected, along with performing other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Graduation from a college or university with a master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychiatric rehabilitation, or psychology.
Must be working toward licensure in Montana and have strong clinical skills and experience providing treatment to persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses.
Must have a clear understanding of the characteristics and problems of adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses and be knowledgeable about the PACT model.
Must maintain licensure in the state of Montana.
Must have a valid Montana driver's license and valid vehicle insurance.
All Positions at Many Rivers Whole Health must pass Background Checks and Motor Vehicle Record Check.

Responsibilities

Provides direct clinical services to clients on an individual, group, and family basis in the office and in community settings to teach behavioral symptom management techniques to alleviate and manage symptoms not reduced with medication and to promote personal growth and development by assisting clients to adapt to and cope with internal and external stresses.
Maintain a consistent level of productivity. This includes achieving three (3) contacts per week per PACT client across the team.
Provides individual supportive therapy (e.g., problem solving, role playing, modeling, and support), social skill development, and assertiveness training to increase client social and interpersonal activities in community settings.
Maintains and complete clinical records on all client in accordance with MRWH policies.
Initiates and maintains relationships in coordination with other employees, with law enforcement and other human service agencies, and with informal community resources (e.g., landlords and employers).
Performs emergency services both during and after normal work hours and performs on-call duty for crisis intervention and for employee supervision and consultation.
May provides benefits counseling (Supplemental Security Income (SSI), veteran’s benefits, etc.)
Provides consultation to other employees as requested and participates in staffing of cases.
May provide consultation and education services to individuals, agencies, institutions, and groups as assigned.
Participates in in-service training and attends outpatient employee meetings as directed by immediate supervisor.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
