About The Position

The PACS Administrator II role is a hospital-based position within the IT Department at Texas Health HEB. This role involves providing direct training and support to physicians and other clinical staff, working within a supportive, transparent, and inclusive team environment. The administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day systems and application administration and support for assigned departments, clinics, and entities, both onsite and virtually.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field or 4 Years Relevant experience in lieu of a degree (Required)
2 years Application support experience, preferably in a hospital environment. (Required)

Nice To Haves

Clinical knowledge of Radiology department and workflows, preferably in a hospital environment. (Highly Preferred)
Fuji PACS experience (Highly Preferred)
Ambra experience (Highly Preferred)
Epic Cupid experience (Highly Preferred)
CVIS experience (Highly Preferred)
ServiceNow experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Provide day to day systems/application administration and support to assigned departments, clinics, and/or entities, onsite and virtually
Deliver application using deployment systems, oversee upgrades and enhancements, and coordinate interfaces of applications
Oversee management of compliance to security, ITIL and ITS standards.
Coordinate new user applications training for assigned departments, clinics, and/or entities.
Proficiently demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of multiple systems/applications and their integration and business needs and processes.
Serve as mentor for less experienced staff.
Participate in special projects and/or perform other duties as assigned.
