About The Position

This role is within the Imaging department at Columbia St. Mary's in Milwaukee, WI. The position is full-time, working days. The Administrator - PACS will manage database and server groups, handle daily management of PACS anomalies and changes, and oversee transcription issues to ensure all reports are finalized. This role also involves managing imaging IS projects from start to finish, providing input for budget requests, coordinating end-user training, and acting as a liaison for digital imaging initiatives across departments.

Requirements

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) preferred.
Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) preferred.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred. All specialties accepted.

Responsibilities

Manage database and server groups.
Perform daily management of PACS anomalies and changes process to prevent recurrence.
Perform daily management of transcription issues and follows up on all reports not finalized.
Manage imaging IS projects from inception to completion.
Provide input for operations and capital budget requests.
Provide direction and coordination of end user training.
Liaison in digital imaging initiatives within the department and other departments.
