About The Position

Republic Extrusions/Team Pride Extrusions is a leader in providing high-quality aluminum extrusion products and services tailored for various industrial needs. The Packing Team Member is responsible for the safe and efficient handling and packaging of products to be shipped to suppliers and customers.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic
• Good attendance
• Ability to effectively communicate and work with team members in a bilingual environment (with the use of an interpreter as needed)
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Basic computer skills needed for printing labels

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma preferred

Responsibilities

• Proper handling, packaging and preservation of product
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment
• Identify and report safety concerns to the Packing Team Leader
• Identify and report maintenance needs to the Packing Team Leader
• Work with Quality personnel to monitor quality of product and respond accordingly
• Interpretation of work orders and packaging instructions
• Complete and submit daily production reports
• Maintain a good attendance record
