The Packing Operator role is a permanent full-time position on the Day shift (Monday to Friday 7:00h-15:00h EST) at the Alliston facility. This role is crucial in manufacturing high-quality, life-sustaining products, requiring speed, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced, around-the-clock operation. The team focuses on creating quality products and supports each other in an open culture to evolve processes and engage the workforce.

Requirements

Successful completion of High School diploma or GED required (Proof will be requested)
Experience doing repetitive tasks
Manufacturing/Quality experience in a GMP environment
Experience in food or manufacturing industry
Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude, and an ability to work in a team setting with a focus on quality assurance and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

Experience working in an assembly line setting is preferred
Flexibility to weekends

Responsibilities

Set up case sealer
Ensure machines are operating properly
Move sterilized trucks from sterilized staging area to packing staging area
Remove screens from trucks
Unload sterilized products onto conveyor
Inspect and pack the viaflex units
Remove empty trucks to staging area and remove garbage from area
Learn, understand and apply thorough quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical or discrepancy issues occur
Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles
